*There are 29 of these buttons available. They are $11.50 per button, enter how many buttons you would like under quantity. Each button will be the same wood and similar size, but keep in mind that each one will vary- the color of the grain varies, the depth of the design varies, etc. If you are wanting matching buttons for a project- some of these buttons will be better matches with each other than others, that's why we are selling them singly.*

*These particular buttons are on sale because these are the "seconds" out of a batch of tree buttons. We use a natural oil/wax blend and sometimes some of the wax gets in the background and we don't like the way it looks (we've changed our method since then) or a button might be a bit off center. We can be picky about the finished product sometimes, but with most of these I don't think anyone would see why they would be considered seconds. I went through these buttons again later and many I couldn't even tell why I'd put them in the "seconds" pile originally... so this is such an incredible deal for these buttons, there are some real treasures in here!*

These wooden buttons were created by my husband Jeff in Oregon myrtlewood. Myrtlewood is a special (and beautiful wood) that grows in southern Oregon and northern California, along the coast. According to folklore, it is said to bring prosperity. Jeff created this gorgeous tree design, which I adore. He sanded these buttons and burned his original tree design onto each one. I love the colors and markings in the grain of each of these buttons! These tree buttons are really something special, and so unique.

~Care Instructions~ Care for these buttons as you would wool: hand wash garment in cool water and lay flat to dry. If the wood should dry out from washing, a little walnut oil (or other natural oil) on a soft cloth works well to moisturize them. Oiling them will keep your buttons beautiful and protect them from drying out.
