These wooden buttons were created by my husband Jeff in beech wood. The tree still stands in our yard, but we've had branches fall in storms so Jeff makes buttons with the fallen branches. I love the warm hue of this wood, all the rings of growth, and the design in the grain that almost makes it looks like light bursts coming out from the center. Sanded smooth- you'll love the way they feel. Pictured with grey yarn, these buttons would pair nicely with many different colors.

~Care Instructions~ Care for these buttons as you would wool: hand wash garment in cool water and lay flat to dry. If the wood should dry out from washing, a little walnut oil (or other natural oil) on a soft cloth works well to moisturize them. Oiling them will keep your buttons beautiful and protect them from drying out.
