These earrings were created by my husband Jeff in Oregon yew wood. This is such a gorgeous wood! I really like the rings of growth in these earrings, and the deep hues. With all the sanding and polishing he does to bring out the beauty of the wood, these earrings are so smooth, you'll love the way they feel. (A note about yew wood: not for chewing on (hello babies!) because there are some precautions.) These earrings have a little weight due to the density of the wood- if you are looking for the most lightweight earrings that we offer- the cedar earrings are the best choice for that. They come on silver plated ear wires (which can tarnish over time.) (There are some small cracks on the edges, which I think adds to the natural beauty. They don't effect the strength of the wood.)
