These wooden hoop earrings were created by my husband Jeff in red cedar wood. I'm a fan of cedar wood and especially red cedar with it's rosy hue. The design is a fun little doodle I did one day, then Jeff burned my design into the wood and brought it to life as earrings. With all the sanding and polishing he does to bring out the beauty of the wood, the wood is so smooth, you'll love the way it feels.
Not only is the red cedar beautiful, but it also makes for lightweight earrings. These earrings come on silver plated ear wires. For an aromatherapy treat, put a drop of your favorite essential oil on the backside of these earrings (cedar is an absorbent wood and perfect for this) to enjoy the scent while you wear them.
