These wooden buttons were created by my husband Jeff in red cedar wood. I love cedar wood and especially red cedar with it's rosy hue. He sanded these buttons and burned a bird design onto each one. The edges of each button are burned and give a nice contrast. (Please excuse the smudge on my camera lens.) Pictured with blue yarn, these buttons would pair nicely with many different colors.

Beautiful wood + lots of sanding + natural oil finish + polishing on the buffing wheel + a whole lotta love = some gorgeous buttons for your special projects.
~Care Instructions~ Care for these buttons as you would wool: hand wash garment in cool water and lay flat to dry. If the wood should dry out from washing, a little walnut oil (or other natural oil) on a soft cloth works well to moisturize them. Oiling them will keep your buttons beautiful and protect them from drying out.
