These toggle buttons were created by my husband Jeff in Oregon hemlock wood. They are a new style he started making, and I absolutely love the unique, organic shape of these toggle buttons!

I also love the rings of growth, and warm honey hues. These buttons are radiant, with such a beautiful warmth to the wood, and an inner glow.

He sands and polishes the buttons so smooth, you'll love the way they feel. All the sanding and polishing also brings out the beauty of the grain, and makes the wood glow.

~Care Instructions~
Care for these buttons similarly to washing wool: hand wash garment in cool water and lay flat to dry. The less time wood buttons spend in water, the better. Water can dry out the wood. Soaps and detergents even more so by removing the natural oil finish that protects the wood.
I have sometimes been able to submerge a garment for washing while keeping the wood buttons just barely up out of the water. If that doesn't work, I go for a quicker wash.
If the wood should dry out from washing, a little walnut oil (or other natural oil) on a soft cloth works well to moisturize them, and helps keep the buttons in better shape for longer.
