If you are looking for unique, handmade buttons for your creative projects, you've come to the right place!

Full of handmade character, these unique toggle buttons will make a fun addition to garments. I love putting together mixes of our handmade buttons! This would be a great variety of buttons to add to your button stash to have on hand for projects or to give as a gift to a maker in your life. :)

These toggle buttons were created by my husband Jeff in a variety of woods. This set includes four toggle buttons in Oregon myrtlewood, two toggle buttons in mahogany wood, and two toggle buttons in reclaimed mahogany wood.

There are some beautiful buttons in this set! Mahogany wood is just gorgeous! It has a beautiful warmth to the wood, and an inner glow.

This type of Myrtlewood is special in that it only grows in southern Oregon and northern California, along the coast. Myrtlewood has so much variety in the hue and grain. It also takes such a shine! Some pieces are almost like stones, and can look like Tiger's Eye.

With the reclaimed mahogany wood, not only is this wood gorgeous, it has a really fun story behind it. This mahogany came from a JC Penney store in Seattle that was built in the 1930's. When they tore out the wood floors, these pieces were salvaged.

He sands and polishes the buttons so smooth, you'll love the way they feel. All the sanding and polishing also brings out the beauty of the grain, and makes the wood glow.

So much love goes into making these buttons for you to enjoy on your special, creative projects!

Measurements: Sizes range from 1 inch wide to a little over 1 & 1/8 inches wide.

Beautiful wood + lots of sanding + natural oil finish + polishing on the buffing wheel + a whole lotta love = some gorgeous buttons for your special projects.

~Care Instructions~
Care for these buttons similarly to washing wool: hand wash garment in cool water and lay flat to dry. The less time wood buttons spend in water, the better. Water can dry out the wood. Soaps and detergents even more so by removing the natural oil finish that protects the wood.
I have sometimes been able to submerge a garment for washing while keeping the wood buttons just barely up out of the water. If that doesn't work, I go for a quicker wash.
If the wood should dry out from washing, a little walnut oil (or other natural oil) on a soft cloth works well to moisturize them, and helps keep the buttons in better shape for longer.
