These wooden buttons were created by my husband Jeff in Oregon myrtlewood. This type of Myrtlewood is special in that it only grows in southern Oregon and northern California, along the coast. Myrtlewood has so much variety in the hue and grain. It also takes such a shine! Some pieces are almost like stones, and can look like Tiger's Eye.

I love the unique shape of these, they are so fun! He sands and polishes the buttons so smooth, you'll love the way they feel. All the sanding and polishing also brings out the beauty of the wood, and makes it glow.

Full of handmade character, these unique buttons will make a fun addition to garments.

~Care Instructions~ Care for these buttons as you would wool: hand wash garment in cool water and lay flat to dry. If the wood should dry out from washing, a little walnut oil (or other natural oil) on a soft cloth works well to moisturize them. Oiling them will keep your buttons beautiful and protect them from drying out.
