This handmade wooden heart shawl pin was created by my husband Jeff in red cedar. I love cedar wood and especially red cedar with that rosy hue. It smells amazing too! The shawl pin stick was made in reclaimed purpleheart wood. it's naturally purple in color, and pairs beautifully with the red cedar.

I love the carved heart shapes that he creates! The hearts take more time to create with that shape, but the results are so worth it. The hearts are full of handmade character, and each one is unique!

He sands and polishes the wood so smooth, you'll love the way it feels. All the sanding and polishing also brings out the beauty of the wood, and makes it glow. The shawl pin stick is pointed at one end to go through knitted fabric more easily. (Some people tell us they wear the shawl pins in their hair!)
