This wooden tree pendant was created by my husband Jeff in Oregon myrtlewood. Myrtlewood is a special (and beautiful wood) that grows in southern Oregon and northern California, along the coast.

Jeff created this gorgeous tree design, which I adore. He sands and polishes the wood until it simply glows, burns his original tree design into the wood, then finishes the wood with a natural oil finish.

The Myrtlewood can have so much variety in the hues. This batch of tree pendants was a beautiful, deep rich hue.

This pendant comes on a dark brown cotton cord with a slide knot so you can adjust the length. (To adjust the length, simply pull the knots.) I love the way the wood pendants feel against the skin, the wood has a warmth to it.
