These earrings were created by my husband Jeff in Oregon cascara wood. Yes, this wood is naturally this gorgeous yellow color! It still amazes me to see wood this color. I love the rings of growth, and the natural bark around the edges of these earrings. He sands and polishes the earrings so smooth, you'll love the way they feel. All the sanding and polishing also brings out the beauty of the wood, and makes it glow. These earrings come on sterling silver plated ear wires. Natural and earthy, and bright and cheery all at the same time. :)

Measurements: 1 & 1/8 inches wide. Each one varies- between 1 & 7/8 and 2 inches tall.

*This particular pair of earrings has gone through a process to keep the bark on. A note from Jeff: "A lot of folks like the look of buttons with the bark still on them, but this isn't possible with most woods because the bark will come off right away. So I came up with a method of adhering the bark with a special inert (non-toxic) adhesive that permeates the bark then holds it to the main wood. Any adhesive on the surface of the button is then sanded and polished off. This gives a really nice look especially with Hemlock and Sassafras."
