These wooden buttons were created by my husband Jeff in Oregon hemlock wood. The hemlock wood came from our yard (we had to get the tree removed because it was leaning towards the house and was too close.) He has been using up every bit of that beautiful wood, and these buttons are one of the results. I love the warm honey-hue of this wood, and all the rings of growth. He sands and polishes these buttons so smooth, you'll love the way they feel. All the sanding and polishing also brings out the beauty of the wood, and makes it glow. This batch is priced a tad lower because we are very particular about how the finish turns out, they are a good deal because no one else would probably notice the difference.

~Care Instructions~ Care for these buttons as you would wool: hand wash garment in cool water and lay flat to dry. If the wood should dry out from washing, a little walnut oil (or other natural oil) on a soft cloth works well to moisturize them. Oiling them will keep your buttons beautiful and protect them from drying out.
