These toggle buttons were created by my husband Jeff in reclaimed sassafras wood. Are these buttons fun or what? They have a woodland look that I love. My husband Jeff sanded them smooth on the edges and on the back. We are not sure how the bark on the front will hold up over time if these buttons get a lot of wear? They could be used for more decorative purposes or if being used for functional buttons, know that there's a possibility some bark may come off over time. (But from what we've seen ourselves, they've held up pretty well.) Full of handmade character, these unique toggles will make a fun addition to garments. So much love goes into making these buttons for you to enjoy on your special, creative projects!

~Care Instructions~ Care for these buttons as you would wool: hand wash garment in cool water and lay flat to dry. If the wood should dry out from washing, a little walnut oil (or other natural oil) on a soft cloth works well to moisturize them. Oiling them will keep your buttons beautiful and protect them from drying out.
