This handmade wooden shawl pin was created by my husband Jeff in Oregon myrtlewood. This type of Myrtlewood is special in that it only grows in southern Oregon and northern California, along the coast. Myrtlewood has so much variety in the hue and grain, and this shawl pin has beautiful stripes and different colors in the grain.
He sanded and polished the wood so smooth, you'll love the way it feels. What makes this shawl pin even more unique is the beautiful celtic knot design he burned into it. A lot went into making this work of art for you to enjoy.
The shawl pin stick is pointed at one end to go through knitted fabric more easily. Shown with grey yarn, it would pair beautifully with many different colors.
This shawl pin will add a beautiful touch to your special shawl!
